How many songs do we hear and sing that express joy?
The Psalms talk about praising God and singing with joy!
But, there are also modern day songs that express joy as well. Of course, there are the Christmas songs like Joy to the World, but there are others as well that express joy. If you can't think of any, make a new song unto the Lord!
Is joy something you can muster up all by yourself? I really don't think so. I really believe that true joy is only found when we are in the presence of God. The Bible says:
You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. Psalm 16:11
