Where's Peara? A Sandy Climb in a Great Lakes State

It's time for another episode of "Where's Peara?"  For those of you who don't know, Peara is a yellow plush, stuffed pear.  Our family acquired her as a hand-me-down from my sister-in-law years ago, and we have since had some fun with her in a "Flat Stanley" stlyle approach.  We bring her with us when we travel, and take pictures of her adventures along the way.

So, where's Peara today?

Hint:  It's a sandy climb in a Great Lakes State.  OK, it's actually two sandy climbs in the same state, and on one of the climbs, she almost met her demise as she started to tumble down the steep terrain.  It was a fast lesson in physics and gravity as I watched in horror as she plummeted down the steep banks of a sand dune.  Thankfully, there was a broken fence part way that stopped her roll.  But, it wasn't easy maneuvering on the edge of a dune around rusty, twisted wire and wood to try to prevent her from breaking loose and rolling completely down into Lake Michigan.

Here's the pictures from her two sandy climbs.  Can you figure out where she is?

Yes, she is also helpful in taking family pictures (on self-timer)

And, now for her second climb:

The first pictures are from Sleeping Bear Dunes at the Dune Climb near Traverse City, MI.  The others, where she almost rolled to her doom, is at Laketown Park dunes in Holland, MI.
