Day 20 Ornament - A fiery furnace

They refused.
The Old Testament scriptures explains how we should respond when presented with the choice of going along with the crowd and what is commanded of us when it goes against our beliefs. Just say no!
Shadrach, Meshach and Abendnego were thrown into a fiery furnace for not bowing to an idol. But, inside the furnace was an "Angel of God" who is believed to be Jesus himself. The men came out of the furnace not even smelling of smoke. Because of their stand, the king began to praise God. The three knew their God would deliver them from the fire.
