My dream is to have a personal chef, because when it's time to eat at our house, I get exhausted weeding through what each picky eater will or won't eat and what is available that won't take more than several hours to prepare and bake, so I was thrilled to get a chance to review the MyFreezEasy.com Freezer Meal Plan Membership from MyFreezEasy. I received the premium annual membership for review.

You shop with the generated shopping list (there are 4 different types of lists based on your shopping style)
You prep alongside Erin Chase by watching her step-by-step cooking and assembly videos or printing out the assembly notes to follow (This process is intended to take less than an hour to prep 10 meals)
You freeze the meals
You thaw and cook
You EAT with your famiily!
How Did We Use It?
Several years ago when I was first married and had time on my hands to actually meal plan, I found out about cooking meals ahead of time and freezing them, so that they are ready to go when you need them. A few years later, my hubby sent me to a nearby grocery store who had cooking classes on preparing meals to freeze... Fast forward to three kids later and absolutely no time on my hands plus two very picky eaters in the bunch, and mealtime has become disastrous! I was excited to give this MyFreezEasy Meal Planning a try.
I received a premium membership to MyFreezEasy. The first thing I did was explore the website and watch the introductory videos that explain EVERYTHING! Really, this is not as overwhelming as it might sound to someone who has never tried it before. I then, went to look over the monthly meals to select or swap out any that my family would prefer more with some I knew were not going to work with my crew. Honestly, this was the hardest part - Yes, even harder than actually shopping, preparing, freezing, thawing, and cooking the meal. Why? Because, I have two children who are just plain picky eaters. However, they aren't picky in the normal sense of the word, but rather, prefer everything they do eat to be just plain without any kind of sauces. They do tolerate some seasoning, but that's limited too. Our family doesn't do pork and we haven't gone to the complete gluten-free route, so my choices were pretty much all beef or all chicken with the ability to swap out what I chose. I liked what I saw on the beef options the most. So, my next step was choosing the individual menus that would work for my entire family. I selected the recipes that looked the best to me and easily created a meal plan through drag and drop.

What Did We Think?
I am particularly excited about the Frito pie and the Easy Lasagna Bake and am excited to try the chicken and slow cooker recipes as well.
This is amazing! Though, my picky eaters make it more challenging than any menu planning needs to be, this system provides everything you need to cook and freeze several meals in no time. These meals are then ready when you need them on busy days to just thaw and pop in the oven. The program is set up to provide everything you need from choosing your menu selections to generating a shopping list to giving you access to step-by-step cooking instructional videos. What a wonderful idea! If I can't have a personal chef, I am happy to at least make meal planning so much easier by just spending a little bit of time at the beginning of each month to prepare and freeze our meals,
