Here's our experience with LESSON 4B:
Lesson 4A had us start to make a business plan and do a practice survey. Part 4B has the child do actual customer surveys and design a logo for their business. It takes part in two days, like Lesson 4A did. So, this is Day 3 and Day 4. It emphasized thinking about what makes her business special.
We continued worksheet 4 and then were asked to continue on to the activities of the customer survey and designing a logo as well as setting up a sales folder.
The keys ere about seeking revelation, being prepared and creating a business plan and logo. Some key terms were business plan, consumer, logo, revelation, sole proprietorship, and survey.
We also did a couple of the bonus activities, such as the tongue twister and prayer.
She like the idea of asking God for revelation but surprised me a bit that my artist, art-loving daughter wasn't as into designing a logo as I thought she would be. Nonetheless, we came up with a plan and a design to use.

RECORDED OBSERVATIONS OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, MONEY SKILLS, BIBLE KNOWLEDGE, LIFE SKILLS, SOCIAL SKILLS, OR POSITIVE BEHAVIORS EXHITIBED OR ACQUIRED BY MY CHILD THAT I DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTE TO THE KINGDOM CODE CURRICULUM:
We found these part 4A and 4B lessons to be very thorough and great necessary foundational steps toward building treatures.
We were asked to have our child choose a viable business before the end of Lesson 2 and to complete the Treasure Builder Permit form.
The program emphasizes service businesses, even though we are free to choose a goods-related business instead. The reason they stress service is because business usually requires less money since a goods business requires purchasing supplies and figuring out costs for each item. Service teaches children the ability to please someone else in order to receive compensation. If you choose a goods business, many of the activities will have to be adapted and cost/sale price must be taught thoroughly so profitability is achieved.
