Tips For Interviewing In A Different Language

Tips Interview Other Language

Arrive prepared by taking time to practice answering questions that will most likely be asked and expressing your skills and achievements in front of a mirror ahead of time. Listen closely for minor errors in pronunciation or verb forms. Be ready to answer questions like, “Tell us about yourself,” “Where do you see yourself in … years?” Or, “Can you give me an example of a time when you … and how you dealt with that?” Also, be prepared to answer the dreaded question, “Do you have any questions for us?” The question in and of itself is asked solely to determine your level of initiative. Answer by asking them about training opportunities, interesting projects that they are currently working on, the work schedule, and the potential to develop your career. Win them over by learning the proper words to express that you are a multitasker, always eager to learn, and that you are looking for the chance to progress.
