Thought I'd throw in one of our "Where's Peara" blog posts since it's been awhile. Peara is our traveling mascot. She is a stuffed pear that we inherited as a hand-me-down from my sister-in-law years ago. We've brought her along with us on our travels ever since.
Today, Peara has joined our homeschool aboard a ferry bound for Mackinac Island.
We were blessed that the weather held out, so the ferry was able to go under the Mackinac Bridge, so we got an added bonus of a narrated tour of the Mackinac Straits and the bridge.
