Early Readers Bible Review

I was privileged to have the opportunity of receiving a hard cover, sparkly pink Early Readers Bible in the NKJ version as part of the Booklook for Bloggers program in exchange only for my honest review. It is published by Tommy Nelson.

First, let's start with the fact that this is not a story Bible. It is the full 1,168 pages of Bible text. But, it doesn't stop there. The cover is a sparkly pink that appeals to my princess-loving daughter. It opens up with a dedication gift page followed by The Road to Heaven synopsis of salvation steps and a decision record the child can sign, a certificate of baptism, a 2-page sheet where the child can list favorite Bible verses, and a 2-page sheet to list church events and achievements.

This is followed by a Table of Contents that lists how the book is set up:

How to Use This Bible
Good Information
God's Word Is Good to /learn
God's Word Is Good to Read (with reading plans)
Illustrated Word List
God's Word is Good to Keep (memorization tracks)
God's Word is Good to Pray (Bible's guidance on how to pray)
Genesis through Revelation full Bible text
Good to Explore (color sections with maps, etc.)

All of this even before you delve into the Word of God!

The book of Revelation is followed by an Illustrated Word List, verses to remember, a prayer journal, and time lines and how biblical times relate to secular history, and full-color maps.

I was blown away impressed with all that this Bible packs into it. It is truly an amazing book that would open the eyes of an early reader. I found it to be extremely high quality and with no fluff or story telling, pure Scripture and study tools are included.
