Fun Fact Language
The words associated with numbers hold a lot of meaning. If you visit Japan, be careful not to use the words for the number four or the number nine, which sound like shi or ku. These numbers are considered to be unlucky since the words that define them sound the same as the words for death, pain, or worry. Because of this fun fact, some Japanese hospitals refuse to offer rooms with the numbers 4, 9, 14, 19, or 42. The number 42 is pronounced si-ni which means to die. It actually is probably not a bad idea, though. Think about it! Would you want to be hospitalized in a room labeled death?
