On Tuesdays in our town, Chick fil a offers a special family night where kids' meals are buy one, get one free. Of course, this restaurant is known for offering educational books in their meals. But, last night when we got home, my youngest opened up her bag hoping to find a book about elephants. Instead, she found this.
It's a toy airplane that the child assembles, a passport informational booklet, stickers, and a map with a maze on the back.
So cool!
We got an impromptu lesson about South America.
We learned about penguins, turtles in Ecuador, llamas in Peru, monkeys in Brazil, and Argentina.
This all came about because we were hungry and wanted a good deal.
There are five of these passport geography airplane series to collect, and I'm looking forward to hopefully collecting them all and logging some geography hours as we eat.
